I see so many variations of DIY chore charts on Pinterest and have wanted to make these for some time now. I finally made them yesterday. Below are step by step directions on how I made the adorable chore charts.
What you will need:
1. Clip board
2. Mod Podge
3. Scrapbook paper
6. Clothes pins
First, pick your scrapbook paper and Mod Podge it to the clipboard, wrapping it around to the back. I cut out the letter of their name and a strip to go across the top out of a coordinating paper. I then Mod Podged them down. Then, I Mod Podged over the entire board sealing it.
Next, I made the clothes pins with a coordinating paper. I glued them to the paper, cut them and glued them to another piece of paper. Cut them out and wrote each chore on the pin. I love the way the colors came together so well. I added a clothes pin directly to the board for the sticker chart of our weekly goal. This week is going pee pee in the potty:)
I would however change the layout of the chart. I would glue the clothes pins directly to the board and type, print, and laminate the different chores on little cards. Overall, I am pleased with the final product and the children love them.
